I’ve always been drawn to things with a story. When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll usually find me out on the trails exploring or in my garage covered in sawdust, restoring a piece of mid-century furniture.
There’s a specific kind of magic in seeing the 'bones' of something, finding the character underneath. I realize now that’s ones of the reasons why I fell in love with wedding photography. I’m not there to manufacture a perfect, stiff portrait; I’m there to find the 'bones' of your relationship, the quiet half smile glances, the messy laughs, and the raw, unpolished candid joy that makes your story yours.

From giving people the classic "Jim look" to saying "TWSS" like Michael, it's never a dull moment. Yes, I've even dressed as Pumpkin head Dwight (ask to see the pic!)
Photography isn't just a career for me, it's been a lifelong passion, wherever I'm at!
I love to travel whenever I can! Some of my favorites thus far: Italy, Toronto and Ireland
Everything from kayaking, SUP'n, hiking, camping, running and yes even skydiving!

Everyone meet Arlo, my loyal sidekick and the ultimate mystery mix, made up of ten breeds and a whole lot of charm!
My happy place is anywhere my paddle hits the water or my hiking boots hit the dirt. Whether it’s kayaking over shipwrecks in Lake Michigan or taking my pup, Arlo, to explore a new trail, I’m a firm believer that the best views come after a bit of a scramble.
How does that translate to your wedding day? It means I’m the guy who stays calm when the schedule goes out the window. If there’s a sudden downpour or a wardrobe malfunction, I’ve got you. I’ve spent enough time navigating rivers and jumping out of planes to know that life (and weddings) rarely go exactly to plan—and sometimes, the 'pivot' is where the best memories are made.
I’ve never been much for sitting still. Most of my favorite memories involve a kayak, a trail map, and my dog leading the way. When you spend that much time outside, you become a professional observer, noticing the way the light shifts over Lake Erie or the small, quiet details people usually blink and miss.
I didn’t set out to be a wedding photographer; I was just a guy with a camera in his backpack. But I eventually realized that the things I love about the outdoors, the unpredictability, the energy, and the "realness" of it all, are the exact same things that make a wedding day worth remembering.
I'm capturing the feeling, not a pose.
I’m not here to create a staged editorial or a filtered Pinterest board. My goal is simpler, I want to capture how the day actually felt.
I’m for the couples who care more about the person they’re marrying than the color of the napkins. I’m here for the loud laughs, the messy hair, and the beautiful chaos that happens when your favorite people are in one room.
Life isn't always "perfect", it’s gritty and unpredictable. I think your wedding photos should be, too. If you’re down for an adventure and don't want to pose until your face hurts, let’s talk.
I went to school for design, but you know what? The universe had other plans for me. It eventually led me back to my true passion: photography. I started off with subjects that interested me like landscapes, and while I loved it, I always felt like there was something missing.
It was the genuine human connection that I had been craving all along. Witnessing the pure, raw, and beautiful emotions between two souls was an incredible experience. I realized that being a wedding photographer wasn't just about capturing pretty pictures; it was about capturing those genuine moments of love and connection that are so profound.
Since becoming a wedding photographer, my life has changed in ways I never could have imagined. I've had the privilege of meeting and working with the most amazing couples. Each one has their own unique love story, and being able to document the beginning of their journey together is an honor.
The Things that my types of couples value most!
Capturing your unique love story is what drives me. Why? To better understand your journey and dreams for your special day. By building a genuine relationship, I create an enjoyable experience. How? With professionalism, creativity, and spontaneity. I capture authentic moments that will be cherished forever.
I don't want you posed (or to pose much at all). I value genuine moments. I guide you throughout the process, capturing your true selves in an effortless and fun way. I want you to see your photos and feel that your unique selves were captured. I am dedicated to making your photography experience enjoyable. Why? To ensure the memories reflect your beautiful journey.
I understand the importance of planning for any scenario. Despite the possibility of unexpected events. I am adept at handling surprises. I've got you covered. Whether it's delays, loss of power at your venue, or wardrobe malfunctions. I'll take care of the unexpected, so you can live in the moment.
I invest time in building a genuine connection with my couples. Getting to know you and understanding what matters to you. Why? Because by fostering this relationship, your wedding day will feel like we've known each other for years. I extend the same care and warmth to your family. Every tender moment shared with your loved ones is as important to me as capturing your love story.
